Domenico Cimarosa was born in Aversa (near Naples, Italy), on December 17th, 1749. He composed over eighty operas during his lifetime, and lived and worked in Naples, Venice, Rome, Florence, Vienna, and Saint Petersburg (at the invitation of Catherine the Great). Cimarosa died in Venice, on December 11th, 1801, and is buried in Campo San Angelo near the calle de Caffetier.

Cimarosa 2 flute concerto

I was happy to find this somewhathard to find piece. A very nice tour de force for 2 flutes and not too difficult, the first part has a few tricky high register passages nice piece of flute literature
