Utterley DISMAL Edition...
The Schumann piano concerto is one of the absolute most important concerti in the repertoire.This edition is a horrible edition to buy. It is heavily edited. Many passages have been slightly reworked with added notes. Some are shockingly dishonest to Schumann's original composition. The are many cluttersome pedal markings which...

Much more difficult than it seems...
This concerto is a killer!!! And it is indeed my favorite concerto ever written. It is very hard though The Passinato section in the middle is particularly nasty. It is beautiful and I want to play it with an orchestra one day... The edition is great too. :]

A Musical Pleasure to Learn and Play
While the piece may not appear difficult at first glance, the technical skills that it takes to do this piece justice cannot be denied. A beautiful and moving melody that will turn heads when performed well.
