        Bolcom Complete Rags

        This is a level of difficulty at least that of Rhapsody in Blue. Graceful Ghost Rag alone is worth the cost of the book Buying the CD this comes from will help in picking songs to learn as well as giving you a high standard of how to play them....

        Good Music!

        The songs in this book are so challenging, but fun to learn! Once you master one of these songs, you feel on top of the world! Be warned players though, these are difficult pieces! William Bolcom just loves to tease our fingers!

        I met Bill Bolcom at the first Scott Joplin Ragtime Festival in Sedalia Mo. His rags are not easy, but they are humorous and very expressive.

        Player beware!!

        Only buy this if you really know how to play. The music is much, much harder than Joplin or Turpin. Maybe I'm not a good judge beacuse this is beyond my ability. You'd better love lots of flats and sharps for this collection.
