Good book, no fingering is understandable
For everyone complaining about the fingering, editorial fingering is hardly ever helpful simply because Rachmaninoff's music might feel comfortable for people will big hands, but with other hand sizes, you must re-adjust the fingering if it is ever given. Rachmaninoff's hands were HUGE, so his fingerings and the fingerings given by editors with big hands are rarely helpful for those that don't have such big hands. Anyways, this book is amazing! Good buy! It has everything in it, and even the classic Op. 3 No. 2! Buy buy buy!!!!

An Excellent Edition
This is a great book and edition if the pianist wants to go in depth with the study of Rachmaninoff's Preludes. Great fingering and great tips for playing the pieces

Great challenge
This book is a great addition to my music library. I bought it because I wanted the Prelude # 5 in G minor - the other songs were a plus. It is definitely at an advanced, concert-level book, and anyone who is looking for a challenge would enjoy it.

If you're looking for a challenge
This book is full of Rachmaninoff's best and is very challenging. The fingering/editing doesn't always work for me so be prepared to make your own notations for what is easiest for you. I've had the book for a month or so and I'm enjoying the work so far.

Great Piano Music
Sorry, but if you need to have fingerings provided, you are really not ready to play this music.

Rachmaninoff's Best for Piano Solo
This volume includes, in my opinion, Rachmaninoff's greatest works for piano solo. My personal favorites include the C# minor, G minor, G major, and A minor preludes. In response to the reviewer who complained about the lack of fingerings, I would like to point out that the Eb minor, C major, E major, G major, A minor, and B minor preludes also have suggestions for fingerings. However, if you have small hands like me, you will need to adjust the fingerings anyway. This Schirmer edition is presented in a complete, easy-to-read format. An excellent buy!!!

preludes
Except of the prelude op 3, the book lack of fingering which is very disappointment. I'd rather prefer the Alfred Pub. edition which gives some fingering suggestions for all the preludes.

Monumental Compositions
Rachmaninoff's Preludes are among the best written. This book is very accurate and the notes are clear. The editing is excellent, but you must furnish the fingerings. This book contains some of the greatest pieces ever written including: the famous prelude in C# minor, the incredible G minor, the romantic E-flat and D to name a few. Highly recommended!
