romanticism at it's best
I really like Liszt, unfortunately, as a lot of pianists know, his music is for gifted virtousos mostly. Grieg's lyric pieces are easier to play, and follow the same romantic style as Liszt's pieces. A person can add so much musicality to these pieces to make them very beatiful and...

Reprint of a Great Edition
Grieg published his works, editing them himself, with C. F. Peters. This Dover edition is a reprint of that edition, but at half the cost. How could one argue for using any other edition when you have one done by the composer himself? Unless, of course, you want the original...

Very readable, complete collection
These are fun, expressive pieces that are pretty easy for late, intermediate player like myself. They're short too. I had been looking for a collection of the Grieg lyric pieces and could only find very small collections, (usually only Op. 12) at fairly high prices. This was quite affordable, contains...
