Liszt is Supreme
This is such a great collection encompassing the early to mature versions of the Transcendental Etudes at a very low price. You can see what Liszt kept and what he threw away as the timeline progresses. Every serious pianist should have this.

Liszt
Liszt is my favorite composer, although his music is so frequently show-offy and virtuosic that a lot of pianists see his music as garbage, virtuosity without musicality. Still I think Liszt's music has more audience appeal than perhaps any other Romantic. Of course you can't even dream of playing these...

One can never stop learning!
These etudes are the paramount of piano virtuosity and I got them because I wanted to complete my collection of etudes from various authors. It will take me many, many years before I master them. I have many Peters and Henle editions, but only Dover seems to offer you complete...

Verrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry good
This book is very good. I always trust dover, they are my favorite publisher. This book contains the first version of the etudes... rather easy boring excersizes, I didn't play them. Then It has the second version, the really hard version of the etudes. Verry few people could play them...
