A Favourite!
I bought this book a year and a half ago and I still really enjoy it! A good selection of different types of music and so much fun to play! Definitely one of my favourites!

Good investment
I have used this book and cd accompaniment along with others over the years to play at a local convelescent care center when I don't happen to have an accompanist. Live is always best but this has come in handy for those last-minute changes. I feel that these arrangements are easy to early intermediate.

So nice I bought it twice!
I purchased this play along book and CD a few years back. Unfortunately the CD was damaged/scratched beyond repair, which was upsetting. When I play along with this I felt it really helped me play better. I like that there are 2 tracks for each song, one with and one without the solo melody being played. There are also tuning notes at the beginning to make sure you are in tune with the CD.

Great!
I simply love this book! I appreciate that the CD has tracks with instruments playing with the accompaniments, and tracks of the piano accompaniments alone. The included songs are wonderful. Practice has never been this much fun!

Not bad
The music isnt so bad, but the cd has the songs played by other instruments, such as a trumpet or clarinet. The songs themselves are nice, but I've never heard of some of them, and they are all inspired by other more popular songs.

Review of Classical Solos (Flute) with CD
This music is very pleasurable to practice. The arrangements are simple enough to play and yet the melodies are beautiful and flowing. This period of music is perfect for my tastes.

Easy listening
These pieces are all very pretty and easy to listen to. Good for beginners. The Accomp. CD is good also.

Fun variety of well-known selections
This book is a big hit! The selections are well chosen and the students love to play them. There are several different time signatures giving the student a challenge when counting. This gives my rating an intermediate level. The fingerings aren't difficult but counting is challenging on some pieces. The CD is well made and comes with practice and full performance tracks. A must have for home schoolers or private lessons!
