Weird writing?
This is a wonderful piece by Spohr, and I was so excited that it was so cheap! But that came with a catch. In the music there are weird letter markings that seem to be handwritten in some spots. It's not enough to make it annoying, but it's just inconvenient, so only one star removed from that. But other than that, the sheet music quality is great and this is a great piece to perform!

Spohr is amazing!
Spohr's four clarinet concertos are all fun and challenging to play. Kalmus has done some fantastic editions of music, and I really appreciate the accurate cues that are printed in the solo clarinet part. Also, the most difficult passages have alternative ways of being played which are also written, which can be helpful to less advanced players.
