Hail, Hail this book!
From one of the early rock guitar pioneers who's influenced tons of guitarists. Along with a great selection of songs, this book has a very detailed section about Chuck's style with great examples (chords, lead style, etc.). There is a brief description on each song about how the style of that song fits with the styles described at the beginning of the book.

What's missing!
The only criticism I have of this publication is that it does not contain sheet music for "Nadine".! I would most particularly like to have sheet music for the guitar solo that accompanies the YouTube performance of Nadine which not only features Chuck but also Bobby Keys and Keith Richards in tuxedos, no less!

Friend says it's a good challenge
I bought this for my friend for Christmas and he really likes it. He says it is a little harder than he's used to so he has to practice a lot. Says the chords are really easy to read and likes the setup.

A good primer for rock and roll guitar
Everyone should get their Chuck chops down before they can call themselves a rock and roll guitarist. Lots of people I know who've played a long time couldn't play this stuff properly. Don't think it's important, whatever. Chuck is the granddaddy of R&R guitar, and that's about it.

Hail Hail Rock N' Roll
I love Chuck Berry's music. I have been playing guitar for three and a half years and have still not mastered most of these selections. However, if you spend the time playing these songs, it will make your playing so much better. You will be able to handle a lot more difficult material after playing these songs. The transcriptions are perfect. I recommend this book.

Play like rock's guitar pioneer!
This is essential material if you want to emulate one of rock's early pioneers. Playing these tunes is a great way to add a little history to your repertoire. Very enjoyable, and a real trip down memory lane.
