Good arrangements
My string quartet frequently gets hired to play holiday parties, and this book is going to be the one we use to play our holiday music. The arrangements are sight-readable and pleasing to the ear, but still interesting enough and w/ variations to keep us, the musicians, from getting bored....

youth in a Christmas quartet
I bought the music for my children, aged 11-15. (Their father took 2nd violin part, they covered the rest.) The individual parts were not so difficult technically, but some of the harmony was difficult to achieve, and beyond their ability as quartet players.
