Christmas Music for Acoustic Guitar by Stephen Siktberg. For Guitar (Classical & Fingerpicking). Solos. Acoustic Guitar Series. Christmas. Intermediate. Book. 120 pages. Published by Mel Bay Publications, Inc (MB.94428).
ISBN 9781562220150. Christmas. 8.75x11.75 inches.
Oh, Holy Night, "Oh, Little Town of Bethlehem," and "It Came Upon a Midnight Clear" are just a few of the carols in this collection arranged for classical guitar. The author's intent while arranging these carols was to maintain their traditional flavor while making them idiomatic for the guitar. A great way to enhance any Christmas gathering. In notation & tablature.

Beautiful, sophisticated arrangements!
Siktberg has done a marvelous job of arranging traditional carols in a beautiful and interesting way. This book has been so helpful during the Christmas gig season. The arrangements are not easy to learn, but so worth it; so if you're not in a hurry in learning the music, go...

Christmas Music for Acoustic Guitar
A most excellent book! Some very inventive arrangements of mostly well-known pieces. Some tunes have many interesting variations (eg. God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen)that could serve as performance pieces for almost any holiday occasion. Not for beginners, though. Also, notation and TAB are presented separately.

Better than standard fare
This book is for the student or performer who wants arrangements of tunes that tastefully go beyond the simple harmonies and technical requirements of standard Christmas carols. Contents are melodic but also interesting to play and very performance worthy. Intermediate students will find the tablature version next to the standard...

Beautiful arrangements
This has been my go-to book for classical Christmas arrangements for some time now. There are varying levels of difficulty, but you need to be at least a solid intermediate player to tackle any of the arrangements. Although the book offers tabs, the tab arrangements are placed after the standard...

finally
This is easily the best Christmas arrangements for classical guitar I've ever found - They sound fantastic without being terribly difficult to play - I,d almost swear some of these arrangements we're made by J.S.Bach!After some of the hideous (bad voice leading;wrong harmonies;etc.)collections I've seen over the years....thank you!
