The well-transcribed notation gives the accents to the sheet more than the tab, although I would never criticize tab because it helps with fingering formation. Excellent book..I recommend it as a challenging, yet enjoyable exercise. I highly recommend "Wes Montgomery Portfolio" as a similar challenge, as Wes learned guitar by playing Charlie's riffs note for note.
