Feelings and Blues
Mr. Gurman is an excellent teacher and this DVD is worth buying. He's the first guitar DVD teacher I've come across who emphasizes that 'The Blues' by definition is about feelings. You have to, hear, feel and experience the song you want to create before you can play it well....

Generally a good DVD. Exploring the different styles of various artist was very interesting. However even though it is not mandatory it would be helpful to be familiar with music theory when viewing this DVD. Mr. Gurman discusses theory in detail and I was a little lost. I am a...

Great instruction and covers many styles
The "Gurmanator" did a great job with this title. If you have been looking for a dvd to help you phrase and add new dynamics to your improvisation skills this is it. I've watched many video/dvd's and rate this one as one of the best in the blues/rock solo category!...
