      Not what I expected

      I expected this book/CD combo to give examples of the full range of blues options. It focused on faster up tempo blues and did not give any help connecting the riffs together. You are left with a jumbled group of riffs and you have to figure out how they fit...

      Excellent but challenging...

      For the disciplined student, this is a GREAT source of knowledge about basic blues riffs and turnarounds. The focus is on up-tempo New Orleans-type keyboard blues, but it can easily be adapted to slow blues styles as well. Highly recommended (but you have to practice!!)

      CD Only 14 Minutes

      I was expecting at least an hour of cool blues riffs, but it was only about 14 minutes. Also, it was all fast blues and no slow deep blues that I like. Not recommended.
