Roger Miller was the perfect person to create the music for this musical, Big River. Huckleberry Finn and Jim are such appealing characters, and the music and lyrics are abundantly appropriate to their characters. Mark Twain would love it, and it deserves to be heard by a larger audience. The...

Great Book
It is rare that the vocal selections to Broadway shows match the recording very well... this is an exception. This book matches the original cast recording almost perfectly, so there is no guessing on how to play the music. Wonderful music throughout-- country ballads and gospel numbers are showcased best...
