More good songs

This set has the same virtues and flaws as his Unsung Hero collection. While I noticed a few low A's and G's, I didn't think the arrangements were particularly "Bass" trombone solos. Those notes could easily be done an octive up if desired.

fantastic

I enjoyed playing this book. It makes me feel right in the big band, w/ trumpet solos,the piano solo and everything. As a tenor trombone player, It makes me happy and very excited to play a song with back up. Ihope the publisher makes more of these ballad books for...

Great ochestra accompaments

Well demonstrated - Tempos are generally very slow and irregular (need practice to follow enterances and changing tempos). They should be pitched higher for tenor trombones - good for bass. I wish you had more pitched for tenor trombones - more tenors around than bass trombones. I had a band...

Bass Trombone Play Along

This play along offers a chance to work on phrasing. The arrangments are familiar to anyone with a big band history. Great Fun!
