The Best Blues Book for the Basics
I'm a relatively advanced player that found this book very helpful. The lessons are short and sweet. Each one focuses on a relevant topic without being overwhelming. At the end of each chapter all the lessons are combined into an exciting blues arrangement that you can proudly show-off to your friends. I'm almost done with the book and I already have a much better understanding of acoustic blues than when I started. I highly recommend this book to anyone interested in the blues. Not bad for a book I bought on sale as an impulse buy. I haven't even cracked open the CD, yet!

Best way to learn the blues
Many of the songs look easy to play but turn out to be quite challenging for a beginner to early intermediate. The left hand is constantly moving during most of the songs. Once you learn a song, there's a real feeling of accomplishment. Many of the songs on the CD include instructions from the author about the tricky bits. An excellent book.

This is the one I keep going back to.
Acoustic blues that sounds good and feels good. Of all my instructional titles, this is the one I keep going back to. The fun I have doing some to Kieth's stuff in this book reminds me of why I bother in the first place. Challenging enough to be interesting, easy enough to be able to get it, sounds great, and gives insight into the nature of the music. What more could you want. A great book and CD.

Sounds good yet easily played
I have two Keith Wyatt book/CD blues instruction books that are the best I've seen. The CD part has many many parts and he not only demonstrates what it should sound like, but also talks his way through the nuances and hard spots with a verbal explanation.
