Best of Styx
I like the book, the songs don't exactly sound like some of the songs, but then also some of them do. It's a little hard to do some of the chords and chord progressions. This book doesn't have guitar tab which would have been nice to include for some of the songs. I haven't tried it on keyboard yet.

Best of Styx
I have recently picked the guitar back up and ordered this book because I like their music. Some of the chords are easy and some are a little harder. I would like to learn keyboards in the future, so this may be a good book for that step as well. I would recommend it.

We Love Styx
And this was the perfect selection for our son that is in High School Choir. Great collection, and nicely bound. We also purchased a collection of Rush for our other son who is learning to play bass guitar. Both are nice books

pretty good
i love styx. this book has been a lot of fun, but do realize that u will be playing what is sung and not necessarily exactly what the keyboardist is playing. it doesn't really sound too thin, though. only really bad things: does not include "snowblind", "rockin' the paradise" or "boat on the river". also, instrumental section of "come sail away" is left out. its the part that should be between the sections, the first that starts with "a gathering of angels..." and the second that says "i thought they were angels but to my surprise...". mabye its because of the extensive synth work in that section. by the way, this book is definately written for piano, not for keyboards. aside from that, however, it is an enjoyable book with an excellent version of "babe".

dissappointed
All of the best keyboard parts were totally left out. How could you have a Styx book and leave out the coolest keyboard parts. Lame. What does a guy have to do to find good keyboard transcriptions.

Wicked (In A Good Way)
I have been a huge fan of Styx all my life. This is the book that really helped me learn their stuff. Although some of the keys are off on piano (To Make it easier in Mr.Roboto and Grand Illusion) this is still a great book for Styx lovers around the world!

Love it!
I just started playing piano again (after 15 years) and with my Styx obsession, decided to start with this book. Most of the songs are pretty easy to play (even for someone who's not been playing for a long time) and I just love jamming out to all my favorite Styx songs!!

An excellent collection
For the pianist/musician who really loves the music of Styx, this book would definitely be for you. Titles range from almost every album the original group put out. However, the keys of some songs (Mr. Roboto, Show Me the Way) have been altered "to be more playable," and although easier, it does take away some of the originality of the tunes. All else aside, this is one collection Styx fans will not want to miss!

Styx
This is a great book that really does a good job of notation. Mr. Roboto sounds really cool on the piano!
