A nice set of arrangements
These arrangements are quite pleasant. They take a few passes through for the intermediate pianist (although not many), and the more advanced pianist can (almost) sight read them. I recommend this book to any John Denver fan whose pianistic skills are at the intermediate plus level.

Unexpected Pleasure!
I was a little skeptical that this folksy guitar player's songs would turn into beautiful piano music, but boy was I wrong! These are beautifully arranged piano solos, with many subtle "pianistic" stylings. You would never think that these pieces were ever meant for anything other than piano. A few of the arrangements are not quite as good as the rest. For example: Goodbye Again is long and repetative requires a fast tempo to avoid being boring, Rocky Mountain High require consider skill at the piano to be musical, and the Perhaps Love arrangement is little too adventurous. However, Annie's Song, Fly Away, I'm Sorry, Leaving on a Jet Plane and all the rest are just wonderful. Very beautiful and sensitive music. The music is simple enough that an intermediate player can manage the notes without too much difficulty, but with enough musical nuances and interest to satisfy a more advanced pianist.
