a Must-have for Meat Loaf fans
The sheet music is absolutely wonderful! Every song has an incredible mood to it! The only problem that I didn't like about the sheets in general is that there isn't the massive piano intro for bat out of hell, but besides that, it's a must-have if you love Meat Loaf or even if you want a challenge on the piano!

Very disappointed
When I ordered this book I thought it would similar to BAT OUT OF HELL BACK INTO HELL, but I was really disappointed. No intro to bat out of hell, some solos are missing, quite easy to play,... If you`d like to play accompaniment don`t buy this book. This arrangement is a disaster.

Bummed...
I was fairly disappointed with the song I bought this book for, which was Heaven Can Wait. The CD has the most beautiful piano background, but the music here isn't what's on the CD.

Sounds very good!
This music sounds a lot like the actual music. It is somewhat difficult but not impossible. Excellent arrangement!

Sad!
I was really annoyed when I started playing this. No intro to the Bat Out of Hell and it barely even sounded like the song we all know. If you want to be disappointed, then by all means, buy this one!

Disappointing
When I recieved the book I was disappointed because it is the melody to the songs, not the accompaniment which is played on the CD. The piano solos are not the same as they are on the cd. Also, on songs like "Bat Out of Hell", the intro is missing. It's ok, but if you want to play the accompaniment to the songs, don't buy it.

where's the good parts 2
i defintaly agree they could have had alot better piano music for almost all the songs. the actual music played by the piano on the cd would of been awsome to learn how to play. i have been playing the piano for a long time and the music was waaay to easy. if you have played for about 3 or less the book is good for you. i have to admit though i love the music from both of the meatloaf cd's.

I like it
Even though this cd is 18 years older than me i still like it. You took the words right out of my mouth is my favorite song possible because it was the first song my mom exposed me to

WHERE'S THE GOOD PARTS?
I was quite disappointed with this. Alright-it's good, but i REALLY wanted the intro to Bat Out Of Hell. It's not TOO difficult 2 play, but without some of the important parts in B.O.O.H, i don't think it's worth buying.

Expected better
Although the previous entry listed that the solos and harmonies are written in, they missed the boat COMPLETELY on "Bat Out of Hell"! The whole piano intro to the song is nowhere to be found. Both solos aren't the same as what is heard during the song. Also, I was hoping for a separate piano line on "Paradise..." rather than just the vocals. I bought "BOoH 2" a few years ago and "I Would do Anything for Love...." is one of the more complete arrangements I've found....solo, intro, everything! Not trying to be nit-picky but the intro was the main reason I ordered the book to begin with.

Good arrangement
Good quality binding, a few pictures, and the typical useless album history info. But the notation is very good - piano with guitar chords. All major solos and major melodic background accompanies have been added in to the piano part. If you love this album and you like to pick apart small instrumentations from the recording, you'll be suprised that they included some of the harmonies that most other music books don't bother with. It's very well done.
