A necessity for any classical player!
It's the perfect selection of baroque pieces, and it's only missing the Trumpet Voluntary. Great pieces for performances and concerts, they sound lovely if you can play them with any sort of performance flair and brilliance in tone. Gives you pleasing results every time. The piano accompaniment is accurate, and really adds to the piece. Try and have a pianist accompanying you when play these songs, it takes the music to another level. Would be great if it came with an organ part! Not a beginner's book, however any upper-intermediate or advanced player should have this book! Great work out for the lips, and truly gets you into the spirit of those times. Overall, exceptionally beautiful and challenging music. Do not hesitate to purchase. Excellent value for your money.

Awesome Book
This book is great. I've been playing the trumpet for 4 years and it's great to have some Baroque music to play. Some pieces are a little difficult for the young player, like Bach's arias and other pieces. Overall, a great book!
