The edition has been based primarily on Chopin's autograph manuscripts, copies approved by him and first editions. Clear and complete Ballades
Very legible, fingerings generally good, measure numbers helpful. Authoritative score and annotations as far as I can tell. Only drawback is that this printing has a binding which makes it difficult to get the pages to open and lay flat on the music stand unless you basically crush the spine,...
