Still down..but not out.
I am a very senior citizen still attempting to play this ballade and other pieces by the same composer. While I am well aware that it is (and will continue to be) beyond my reach I enjoy getting back into the ring with it and fantasizing...I coulda been a contendah......

Beautiful Ballades
Chopin's ballades are among his most memorable and fabulous compositions and I simply love to hear them and perform them. At first glance they look overwhelmingly difficult, but I found them to be surprisingly easy after a bit of practice. Now I've nearly learned the entire 3rd and 4th ballades...
