Two pianos eight hands disappointment
Of the several pieces of music I have recently purchased for two pianos eight hands this arrangement has been a real disappointment. It is rated as intermediate level four and I purchased it thinking it suitable for my music group who are intermediate to advanced and we love Bach. However, it should have been graded as beginner and I felt quite embarrassed when I put the music out to play as it was not what I expected at all. To have one line of music for both hands (tails up for right hand and tails down for left hand) is totally confusing. Also no spare copy was included for the other piano, so I had to get busy photocopying. Sorry but have given this arrangement the thumbs down but would certainly be interested in other pieces of Bach properly graded with a set of music for each piano with a traditional treble and base for each player.
