Bach Italian Concerto

The only thing going for this volume is that for students it has good guidelines to play the ornaments and maybe decent fingering. But the bad side is the phrase marks and touch indications make this piece overly romantic. Not enough staccatos. Too much legato everywhere. I am uncomfortable teaching this interpretation to students. The other good thing is that is does come with a recording to students can get an idea how it sounds. But the playing is bad quality and bad interpretation. Nothing like hearing Alicia de la Rocha play this piece.
