I am a freshman in high school and I play Bach. Who cares about when you're "supposed" to play it, who cares about when you're "supposed" to play anything. In my opinion, everybody makes to big a deal about "oh you have to play this because you are this old"...

Outstanding Student Edition
This is perhaps the best student edition of the Bach Inventions on the market. The text of the music is from reliable, authentic sources. The editing uses grey print for all editorial additions. Ornaments are properly explained and are in keeping with Bach's instructions for how to play his music....

Bach is hard
This is a good book and explains trills and rythms and other musical challenges right there on the page for you in a simply and easy manner. But Bach itself is not easy. I would not recommend this book or any bach unless you are with a private professional piano...
