Baby Elephant Walk (From the Paramount Picture "Hatari!"). By Henry Mancini. Arranged by Frank Halferty. For clarinet choir (Eb (optional substitute Piccolo), 3 Bb, Eb alto, Bb bass, & Bb contrabass clarinets). Movies, Pop, Jazz. Grade 4. Published by Kendor Music Inc (KN.15352).
A great setting of Mancini's classic is this grade 4 arrangement for clarinet choir. With all the humor this tune evokes, along with bluesy lines for everyone to play, this adaptation is fun for players and audiences alike. Instrumentation includes: Eb Clarinet (substitute Piccolo part provided), 3 Bb, Eb Alto, Bb Bass, and Bb Contra Bass Clarinets.

Awesome!
I did this piece with all my students for our spring recital and everyone had a blast playing it. It's challenging for some but not so challenging that I wasn't able to mix middle schoolers and high schoolers together for it. A wonderful piece! Can't wait to perform it again!...

Great piece with a little editing
We decided to take the Eb soprano part up an octive for almost the whole song and not use the 1st Bb part which almost completly doubles the Eb part. A very fun piece to play and a crowd pleaser.
