Great R.E.M. Chord book
This is probably one of the best guitar tablature books out. It came out in the early nineties shortly after Automatic For The People came out. At that time the music scene for college bands and Seattle bands was booming. Unfortunately the sheet music industry isn't as big as it use to be. But, anyway this book along with Out of Time by R.E.M. is great. The chords and rhythms are right on the money accurate. It's fun to play to the rhythms of Peter Buck, and the solos are simple but cool to play. What a great book and a must have for any R.E.M. fan who plays the guitar.

Not really note-for-note
This book is good overall. I bought it for the Nightswimming sheet music but it was not the way I was hoping to play it. I was hoping to play the piano part as an accompaniment, but it is written as if you were going to play the accompaniment and the melody at the same time on the paino. Although it is written in three lines of music (one for vocal, two for piano), the piano part is not the real piano part played in the song. It is the part played in the song, but when the melody is sung over it, they include the melody in your piano part and you lose the real piano. The good news: My piano teacher listened to the song and looked over the sheet music and was able to write up a piano part that sounds very close to the real one. I have been taking lessons for 1.5 years and I like to play Billy Joel, Journey, and some R.E.M.
