This music is extremely advanced - but what would you expect from Joe Satriani. Will need to practice several hours a day for several more years to be able to touch most of it!

A GREAT BUY!
I definitey found this book to be fun and usefull. Although some of the material is EXTREMELY difficult, it is very possible to pick out your favorite moments in satriani's greatest tunes. This is a big satriani book for the big satriani fan, and the tabs are done accurately. Plus, you get a very entertaining and insightful interview of the man, satriani, himself in the front of the book. What else could a fan wan't?

Excellent Collection of Satch's Music
I have 75% of the transcriptions in this collection in other Satriani songbooks, but the reason I purcahses this anthology was because of two new transcriptions, "Belly Dancer" and "New Last Jam", as well as to have Joe's more popular tunes in one collection. If you are just getting into Satch, this is the place to start. There is a nice panorama of Joe's career represented. I'm still waiting for the songbook for "Strange Beautiful Music" to be released, but until then, I can at least learn "Belly Dancer," and "New Last Jam". The songbook includes a brief interview with Joe, some quotes, and a discography. And as always, the transcriptions are very accurate. I would expect nothing less from Cherrylane. Highly Recommended.
