Almost excellent
The piano intro for "firth of fifth" is not included and many songs from the albums "And then there were 3" and "Wind and wuthering", either, but it contains a lot of significant hits from the group

Not for an advanced instrumentalist
This is a typical songbook. If you like to learn the chords or the basic accompaniments on the piano for the shorter hit songs, this is worth buying. But if you expect detailed transcriptions of the earlier songs, you will be disappointed. "Firth of the Fifth" has only 4 pages, with no instrumental solos. "In the Case" is the only exception - in its entirety with 16 pages, including the complete keybord solo (the notation is half-note higher than the original recording). Among the later songs, "Second Home By The Sea" is good.

Great overview of a great band
I was looking for a lot of sheetmusic of this band and I must say most of the favourite songs are in this book so I am a happy buyer. I can recommend it to everybody.

Firth of fifth!?
What happened to Firth of Fifth intro?? I bought it mostly for that...and it's not there!! It only begins with a few notes and then, right away, it's the part when they start singing So sad :( Rest is good thought...

A great collection of songs
Genesis, in my opinion, created some of the best songs in pop music history. This collection, by and large, does a good job categorizing what made Genesis great. Granted, their large, respected works will not be found here (firth of fifth, supper's ready, The musical box...) in their entirety. But songs like Many too Many, Behind the Lines, One for the Vine, and many others, more than make up for this. The collection ranges from the overly simplified chord pounding of No Son of Mine, to advanced Tony Banks solos found in Follow You Follow Me, and In the Cage. My talent lies somewhere in the middle, as defined by Blood on the Rooftops and Throwing it All Away. I enjoyed this collection, to say the least.

What happened to Firth of Fifth intro?
This is a book for the people who liked it when Phil Collins led Genesis. For all true genesis fans who liked it back when Peter Gabriel and Steve Hackett were around DO NOT BUY THIS BOOK. It is missing key elements of the older songs for instance the intro and solos in Firth of Fifth, the solo at the end of The Cinema Show, the entire first part of The Musical Box (which is cut to the last 2 minutes of the song like on the Seconds Out album) and the beginning of The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway. Also, it is filled with all of the newer songs (which are not even close to the musical excellence of the older years). The only good thing about the older songs is the solo for In The Cage, which is pretty accurate. Otherwise, this book is an insult to Tony Bank's musical ability during the early years of Genesis.
