great songs
"The music is so different from what I use to sing. I am a classical singer but wantend to try Musical songs. It is a different way of singing, but a very nice way. This book is a very good start. I love this book, also because the songs are from youth and present times

Good collection. . . not great
The music stays true to the originals which can be both a blessing and a curse. Many pieces are not suitable for a solo. The songs selected also left something to be desired. I would suggest buying seperate solo books for each musical if you're looking for specific songs. If you're looking for a variety from A.L. Webber's most famous works, this would be a good book.

I like it a lot...
I really like the Phantom of the Opera arrangements in this book. I didn't like "Any Dream Will do" as much as another version I have. Other than that, it's great!
