About American Pop 40's & 50's

(Hard-to-Find Songs). Arranged by Lisle Crowley. For voice and piano. Complete Sheet Music Editions. 1940s and 1950s. Songbook. 96 pages. Published by Professional Music Institute (PM.44010).

ISBN 978-1-933657-57-8-5. 1940s and 1950s. 9x12 inches.

This book is a progressive book. It is designed for the intermediate guitar player but it starts with a relatively easy song that a beginner could attempt to play. Each new song in the book is harder than the last or introduces a new technique. By the time you work to the end of the book you are playing songs that will challenge advanced players. This is also more than just a song book. There are notes at the beginning of each song that introduce the new techniques and how they are used in the arrangement. The student learns about the technique and also learns how to write their own flatpick arrangements.
