Progresses logically

I have used this book with a few students and the way it covers material appeals to the way they learn. It doesn't jump around to all the different strings but focuses on one at a time until familiarity is built.

A solid system

Argh, just because this book does not match the Suzuki book particularly well does not make it a bad system for learning the rudiments of violin- there are all sorts of valid ways to learn to play violin. That being said, I like teaching out of this book (private lessons)....
