        Best Vai to Practice to.

        I'd recommend this 7-song CD/book first if you want to work on Vai tunes... it's the most accessible of his work. Great tunes that the casual listener (i.e. non-Vai fan) will be able to get into without listening 800 times to catch every beautiful nuance... does that make sense? Basically:...

        Vai ohhh Vai

        Pukka. Perfect note for note transcription and guitar tunings (Bad Horsie). You can't fail to improve by using this book. If you think you're not good enough or it's too complicated then think again......learn from the master!

        Awesome but challenging

        I have worked through a few tunes in this book. They are very challenging, but are also very accurate. Good luck knuckleheads.
