"Learning Links" wonderful!
I really like the way this series uses the "Learning Links" to provide interesting facts about the subjects used in the songs. My students really do like that feature and makes them excited about doing the theory book.

Alfred gets an "A"
Alfred's piano method core is built on practical sequential skill and knowledge development. It has consistent review as new elements are presented. Besides meeting educational requirements it stays current with the visual and fun-loving needs of children. As a piano instructor of 22 years, I have tried other methods for students with divergent needs and come back to my tried and true stand-by, Alfred, for the core which meets most every student where they are.

Excellent workbook
Theory book reinforces the concepts taught in the lesson and helps the teacher identify whether the student really understands the musical concepts being taught - plus its fun, the kids love it.

Great companion
I strongly believe in the reinforcement that working in a Theory book brings. This book is a great companion to the Lesson book of the same series.
