My student loves it
I have a student who is really a level 2 but is so fast, she needed to have a challenge. The selections in this book appeal to her (she is 15) and she is working harder than she normally would because she really wants to play these songs.

Great pieces that students like
Wow! What titles: Colors of the Wind, Heart and Soul, Memory, and My Heart Will Go On, just to name a few. These arrangements are SUPERB, because they are easier than the originals, but still sound impressive. I like the Top Hits! series, and I think I like this book best. However, it has proven to be a little challenging if the student has just started Level 3. My suggestion: get this book for a student half-way through Level 3, (if they are zooming through it), in Level 4, or even in Level 5, for an enjoyable, playable book. (I've had teen students in Alfred's basic lesson book level 5 REALLY enjoy this!) Recommend for ages 10 or 11 and up.

-I usually use these Alfred books and I absolutly love them! This is one of my all time favorites, because it has a lot of good songs.
