Great for 4th graders on through high school
I just love this series. I get the other books in the series to supplement such as the theory, notespeller, technic and fun book. It really gives great reinforcement on all the basics of music.

That's not how...
I bought this for my wife and hopefully to use it to teach my kids a little. But, that's not how I remember learning to play the piano. There were no songs that were recognizable, how is one to enjoy learning.

BEST book for ages 8 to adult
After 8 years of piano teaching, this is my FAVORITE lesson book, and I strongly suggest it for anyone ages 8 and up. The "Adult" lesson books, in my experience, are best for adults who have had previous musical training. If they have never played an instrument, or have, but...
