For the first time, an adult course has combined Lesson, Theory and Technic sections within one book. This combined approach offers beginners a unified course of instruction. This course is for adults who prefer a chord approach. It teaches chords for both hands so that the student can play more than single note melodies. At the completion of this course, the student will have learned to play some of the most popular music ever written and will have gained a thorough understanding of the basic concepts of music. This book includes a CD that has accompaniments and rhythms for songs in the book.

Choice of Songs
I didn't like the choice of songs. Level 1 had a nice choice of popular songs while this course had a bunch of old songs and waltzs I don't know. I have to like the songs I am learning so this wasn't a good choice for me. Perhaps you should...
