Excellent book!
Love this book! I used it as a beginning student, and I currently use it with all my beginners. They seem to like it a lot, and the book's layout makes so much sense. I definitely recommend this book, along with the rest of the books in the series!

My first piano book decades ago
OK, so I may be biased because I'm very fondly nostalgic about this book, but I remembered it to be a very good book for beginners. I plan to use it when I begin teaching piano students later this year.

I love this series!
I learned using these books and now, as a teacher, I find them the best series for my students. New ideas are introduced every lesson, but they move in a methodical and logical progression so they are perfect for building the essentials--from reading music to rhythm!
