I like this book
I have been using this book for six weeks now with a nine-year-old student who previously played guitar and read music well on that instrument. I like this book - it's kid-friendly and, so far, it's my favorite and first choice for introducing the bass to anyone.

for beginner to intermediate levels
I can't believe how easy it is to play the doublebass after playing the cello. I owe the easy switch to this book!! A lot of melodies of different genres and technical ideas progress efficiently. Highest recommendation!

great beginner bass book
I'd recommend this to everyone who wants to play the double bass and never played it before. Covers beginning steps really well; no nonsense, straightforward. Easy transition for me from guitar.
