These are pieces to stimulate the musical imagination with such titles as "Snake Sneaking" and "Jungle River Flowing." They are also studies for dynamic balance between the hands, soft tone production, "finger-pedal" (sustaining tones with fingers instead of with pedal), and more. Jon George's illustrations add to the attractiveness.

Great Harmonic, Fun pieces

These songs are REALLY great!! They are fun to play but still challenging. I played out of this book last year, and I loved it!! The songs are the coolest. Jon George is a great contemporary composer. --13-yr-old piano student
