very enjoyable and doable
This is a fun book of well arranged Christmas music that 3 intermediate players can just sit down, read, and enjoy without too much effort. We used "What Child Is This" as a meditation on Christmas Eve and it was lovely. The "secular" tunes are entertaining and fun to play also.

Nice arrangements!
Great for intermediate to advanced player. There were some parts that had the cello and violin playing unison too much, but we just altered it to some nice harmonies. Great for a quick practice and then performance with advanced players. Some pieces are short, but can be repeated to get more playing time out of them. Overall, glad that I got this book! It has come in handy.

Nice Christmas Collection
My husband & I wanted a sight-readable collection to play at a party with a pianist we had never played with before. This was very enjoyable, fresh sounding, and perfect for the occasion.

A terrific collection!
We were delighted with this book! My 10th grade cellist and 8th grade violinist were able to sight read these quite easily, and the arrangements are all delightfully fun and full of intriguing harmonies to please the ear. Don't hesitate!

Each one a winner!
When I purchase a book of music, sight unseen, I usually expect to get at least one good number out of it..what a suprise with "A Christmas Tableaus of Piano Trios"...My friends and I enjoyed them all and put them together for a Christmas dinner party without too much practice.

Useful material
The arrangements are easy enough for less experienced players to do, but interesting enough for advanced players who need something to put together quickly.

Great trios for Christmas
I am very lucky to have a built-in trio in my house (I play piano, son plays cello, wife is learning the violin). These trios are perfect for us! Great fun, sufficiently challenging for us, yet accessible. Imaginative arrangements with fun piano parts!
