A Happy Combination
This is a nice and inexpensive book. The pieces are well adapted for flute and clarinet. Don't expect musical diamonds only: some pieces are mediocre music, but sometimes there is pleasure in playing mediocre music as well.

An Excellent Value
The pieces in this book are longer, and slightly more challenging than those in Volume 1. The flute part works well for violin, although it often entails many shifts. There is a nice variety of periods and styles. The editing is good although some of the page turns are very...
