best for a self-taught beg-intermdt
I understand to an advanced drummer, this is not too exciting. But to me, a self-taught drummer in the early intermediate level, this book is extremely valuable. Although it has some very basic material, but it has enough stuff for me to spend 6 month to get busy with -...

not very creative
I agree with Jett from Baton Rouge, this book is good for someone who is just beginning. There are a couple grooves at the end of the book that are cool, but not many. If you played these for a solo, no one would be impressed.

Don't be fooled by the name
I understand why beginners would give this book a good rating but if you are looking for advanced material then this book is a very poor choice. The name implies a much higher difficulty level than it really is. In fact i wouldn't consider the material to be drum solos...
