i just started taking fr. horn lessons and my teacher recommended this book...it's a real good book for if you are completely serious about learning to play better. this will really improve your playing if you stick with it, which i find hard because i don't like doing kind of...

I have been using studies from this book and they have greatly improved my sound, tone quality, my articulation, and dynamics. The only problem I have with this book is the absence of places to breath. These exercises are very challenging and require a lot of air, but the composition...

A Must-Have for All Players
I've only just begun fighting my way through this book, and look forward to the battle every day! This amazing collection of studies covers nearly every aspect of playing, including bass clef, intervals, scales, tonguing, melody, and more. Any serious horn player must have this in their library!
