LeClair shouldn't be overlooked
Jean Marie LeClair wrote 2 series of violin duets, or sonatas for 2 violins...op. 3 and op. 12. The op. 12 set seems to be only published now for viola, but I wish we could get it for violin too. The duets in both series are really fun to play because they're especially designed to fit violin (or viola) technique--something not always true in Bach and Handel. I have a recording of BOTH sets together, which was expensive and hard to find. Let's bring back LeClair!
