"I absolutely love the phantom of the opera music it is so beautiful, and the way it is arranged for the piano feels like your in the movie, because it is arranged just like the movie, I love to play it and my family loves to listen to it!!! I recommend this to anyone!!"

"The music is a bit difficult to play but with regular and constant practise for a few days, it can be mastered. The rich and deep timbre of the music is a joy to listen to and the music is more than a joy to play. I am qualified upto Grade 8 but having stopped piano playing in my late teens I have started back again in my mid 50's and now very much into playing classical and semi classical music. I will always recommend this book to anyone who is needing the music of The Phantom of the Opera. I enjoy it so much."

"A couple of the songs are easier than the rest. This book is missing the overture if you are looking for that music."

"I loved this book so much I would play through the entire book at one sitting. Normally I get bored and don't finish a book like this - but I learned this one straight through."

"I love the music from the movie and hoped I wouldn't be disappointed with the piano book. I'm not!! It is better than I even imagined. I read the reviews and still wasn't sure that it would live up to my standards seeing as how the music from the movie is so beautiful, but I am totally impressed. I don't have anything negative to say. This book is perfect. "

"The Music of the Night, Think of Me, All I Ask of You, and many others in this book are some of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard. They're so dramatic and romantic. This is a MUST-HAVE for anyone who loves Broadway or beautiful music with a good message."

"I am being reintroduced to the piano after being away for over 35 years. I have been playing again for a year and this ensemble of music is beautiful and challenging for my skill level. I am enjoying this music and it appears original to the score."

"This book is wonderful, and the music is directly related to the movie. I'm a soprano, and I love Phantom of the Opera, so this book was great for me."
— ERMS Soprano #1 from Enfield, CT on March 4, 2007
"This is such a great book. Yes, some of the parts are tricky to play and master but once you do it is awesome. I am also a singer and this is a great book to sing with while playing. It can be formatted to many different instruments, I have already done a violin solo off of the piano music. If you are debating about buying it trust me, it is worth every penny. "

"Simply put, this is a very, very good book. The songs are all amazing, and they're arranged to sound exactly like they did on the soundtrack. Some of them are in harder keys (Andrew Lloyd Webber loves C# Major for some reason!), but they're the same keys used on the soundtrack so the songs sound the same. Overall the difficulty level is pretty consistent; Prima Donna seemed slightly easier than the rest but not too easy. I was a little miffed that Notes was left out, but then it's not really a full song and repeats itself a lot. This is a great book for anyone who loves Broadway music and is up for a challenge!"
— Simba's Boy from The Pridelands on January 6, 2007
"This songbook is great for mid level piano players. Granted, the music can be found in some pretty hard keys that you may struggle with for a while, but once you get the key signature down you can really relax and have fun with your music. I would definitley recommend this to someone who is a fan of the movie. The only songs that are *really* hard to play are "The Phantom of the Opera" and "Past the Point of No Return". I'd say on average people who have been playing for about five or six years should have no probs. with this music."

"I have been obsessed with "Phantom of the Opera" since I first saw the movie when it came out. I've bought several different music books of PTO music, but this one is the best. I have extracted the melodies, and play the Phantoms songs on my French Horn, Christines songs on my flute, and am learning the oboe, so I can play "Learn to be Lonely"."

"This book is so good! The pieces are really beautiful, but be warned, they come in tricky key signatures, so they aren't for inexperienced players. But us more experienced pianists will rejoice! The pieces aren't so hard they're impossible to play, but a pleasing level of difficulty. All of the songs will grow on you, except 'The Fairground', which doesn't work very well. I love Andrew Lloyd Webber anyway; if you like this I would also recommend the music from 'Starlight Express', 'Cats' and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat'! So, if you love the music of the movie, and have quite a few years of piano experience, why haven't you bought this?!?!?! "

"First off, I want to say that the new Phantom of the Opera with Emmy Rossum is one of THE best movies I have ever seen. About 3 days after buying the cd soundtrack I had memorized all the songs because I had listened to it so much. Anyway, I am a grade 6 piano student and found this music quite difficult to play because of all the difficult keys the songs were in. Other than the difficult keys, it isn't that hard, plus it's really nice that it has all the lyrics and chords for every song. I recommend this music for anyone who's up for a challenge, and has their grade 6 piano....AT LEAST!!"

"All of this music is very easy to understand. When I sing this music I feel like I am actually singing in the Opera! I really get into! But this is definitely the best sheet music I have ever sung!! When I saw the movie, I said to my self I NEED to LEARN TO SING ALL OF THIS MUSIC!!! That was probablly the best thing I said to my self in along time. THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA IS THE BEST MOVIE!! EVER!! AND MUSIC!!"

"Phantom is classic show and definetely lived up to my expectations for the book. The songs are amazing and arranged as close to the show as possible. Think of Me and Wish You Were Some How Here Again, are some amazing audition pieces for sopranos or operatic singers."

"My sister bought me this book becuase I love Phantom of the Opera. I had been wanting to play songs on the piano that I enjoyed playing and this book was the key. It has encouraged me to continue my music education because I actually look foward to my "bench time" thanks to this book. It also is very emotional music and I feel like I am in the story while playing this music."
— Laura from Winfield, WV on April 27, 2006
"This is Andrew Lloyd Webber's best musical! The music is amazing and the sheet music is just like the movie! I haven't heard anything like this. Thank you Andrew :) "
— Maddie Newell from Queensbury, NY on April 21, 2006
"I love this musical so much, I've learned every song in this book and I play it all the way through regularly. It's just like the old Phantom book with some additions and minor changes from the movie. THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST MUSICALS OF ALL TIME AND THE BOOKS FANTASTIC! WEBBER FANS REJOICE! "
— JH from NY on March 7, 2006
"I have watched The Phantom of the Opera too many times to count and the music is FANTASTIC! Being able to play it has been the best. It's so much fun to sit and play for hours! If you love the movei, you'll totally love this book!"
— Lizzy Baby on February 22, 2006
"I can not tell you how many times I have watched Phantom of the Opera. It is absoulutly my favorite musical and one of my favorite movies of all time! I love all of the music in the movie too! But when I purchased this book, it sounded like the exact same thing. It is great for children that like to sing. It teaches you the song and and the music notes for a pianist to play with you. I have private lessons for voice and now everytime I watch the movie, I am able to sing along and when I am singing, I always have the right notes and the right chords. This is a great book to share, give as a gift, or just keep it for yourself. "

"Words cannot describe the beauty of The Phantom of the Opera. The music, the words, everything about it is beyond description. A must-have for true music lovers. It is a work that will last for ages. I have been playing the piano for 15 years and wish that I had heard and obtained the music much sooner. I love the classical style music of "The Phantom" combined with with the Opera/Broadway style making it an absolutely gorgeous piece. But like I said before, words simply cannot describe the beauty of this music. It's a valuable addition to any music library. "

"Brings it alive again! The score is easy to play from sight, and sounds just like the movie, so you can sing along. Excellent!"
— Anonymous from San Jose, CA on December 28, 2005
"In my opinion "The Phantom of the Opera is the greatest play in Broadway history. The Music is even better. It is one thing to listen to this music, but to actuually play it enthralling. Bravo! "
— Dave from Kingston, NY on December 7, 2005
"Um to Marzgirl....the mask is not actually on the wrong side, it's just that when you take a picture it's a mirror image, so the Phantom's mask is actually not on the wrong side. Well, this music is amazing. You'll fall in love with it!"

"I loved this book. I played Music of the Night for my last piano recital and everyone loved it. This book is definately something you should add to your music library if you haven't already."
— Denay from Pontiac, MI on November 25, 2005
"Great songs, great movie, great singers! I'm only giving it four stars because the mask of the Phantom is on the wrong side on the cover. Hee, hee!"
— MarzGirl from Mars on November 24, 2005
"I recently purchased this sheet music this passed Thursday when I saw The Phantom of the Opera for the first time. Having played piano for about 8 or 9 years, I found that the songs are easy, yet difficult, depending if you sight read or use the chord structure. For each song it can be played four different ways—the chords with the one-note melody, the chords with the harmonics, sight read using the one-note melody, or sight read with the harmonics. Either way it's played it sounds brilliant. If you're looking for a sing-a-long or a detailed opera piece, this book serves for both purposes. I absolutely love it and would reccomend it to anyone who can play piano. You will not be disappointed."

"Andrew Lloyd Webber is a genius, plain and simple. Gaston Leroux is also a genius for introducing the story of "Le Fantome de L'Opera" to the world. The music is exquisite. The quality is outstanding. There are no words in the English Language to justify the greatness of The Phantom of the Opera."

"This music is fun to play and sing at the same time. This is something that you could sit down and play or sing for hours on end without getting bored or tired."
— Aiden from Dundee, NY on October 7, 2005
"Every selection in this book is breathtaking. Not only can it be played as a piano solo, it can also be played to people who are singing along. Every piece is well written in terms of changing it to piano style. This book is my favorite of any other sheet music I own by far. I guarantee that anyone who buys this book will instantly fall in love with it. "
