Great technique builder
My teacher has me doing 5 of these studies a week and they can be a work out at times. There are definitely some great ones in here, also some fairly tedious ones that have little value to them, but ah well. If you are looking to improve bowings, double...

truely, the violin technique bible
although some of them are very tough on your hands, they seemed to be used as a standard for all state auditions. My technique has improved greatly since my teacher started me on this book. i agree, a must have for any intermediate player.

The violinist bible
It's true that this is a must have for all serious violinists. It doesn't matter if you're a beginner or a professional, everyone uses this book. I've owned it for seven years and it's now tattered, but I still use it to keep in shape. I can't practice my songs...
