I recently finished Book I of this series. The exercises are very good for learning how to manage the difficult fingerings unique to the clarinet. Book II is more of the same, starting with Eb. I am a sax player, trying to improve my doubling skills. I enjoy the challenge...

of the exercises and find them interesting enough that I look forward to practicing. The author was clearly well acquainted with the awkward fingerings that need to be mastered to improve one's playing. I wish there was a similar book for saxophone, but I haven't found one yet. I expect that anyone that hasn't already used these books would benefit. Advanced players would just play them at faster tempos.
