"This is a beautiful selection of Christian hymns for Christmas. My daughter is NYSSMA Level 5 and found the music to be very easy. She played at our church along with the CD. The music touched people's hearts! I highly recommend this book w/CD accompaniment for any violin student."

"The music is easy to play AND sounds great, even in the arrangement of only two violins or one violin and piano. But of course it sounds best with 2 violins and piano. The songs are suitable to sing along. A real enjoyable book. "

"First you should know that I have just started violin, and just retired at age 79. I now have time to practice. I purchased two copies of the above, one for my teacher, and one for me. Another student went out and purchased a copy. Paid to much for it, I bet, but they played some of the songs and they loved doing it. Our teacher and another of her studens played violin II, as another student (the one who paid too much) and me, played violin I, or melody. My wife played the piano part. We had such a wonderful time. This made Christmas very special. Thanks for being here for us. "

"My daughter wanted to learn some tunes to play at Christmas with the family. This had several great selections- both for more classic stand alone pieces and sing alongs. "

"My daughter has been taking violin for two years. We wanted some pieces that she could play and I accompany her on piano for our church. This book was perfect. The violin pieces are just difficult enough to challenge her and some of the piano pieces are a bit of a challenge for me. This book has given us a lot of fun together. We are playing at her recital as well as our church. There is a good selection of pieces and I would recommend it."

"The arrangements and CD are simply wonderful! I bought this book to have some Christmas music with accompaniment to play for family and friends over the holidays and was very pleased. One or two of the arrangements are a little more challenging than the others. They're all beautifully done."

"If a Suzuki student is interested in learning Christmas Music, this book would be the first one to purchase. I'm a beginning adult student, and enjoyed practicing the songs. The CD doesn't have the actual violin performance like the Suzuki series does, but I think most people will not even notice because the accompaniment CD is almost the same as having the teacher play along with the student in class."

"These were exciting alternatives to traditional carol accompaniments. They also included interesting introductions and codas. This is written for 2 violins and piano. But since I had a string trio, the cellist was also able to double some of the piano bass lines. What a memorable candlelight Christmas Eve Service!"

"My daughter wished a Christmas violin score partition, she liked a lot playing these traditional Christmas and all the family was happy of this lovely moment."

"For this Christmas my daughter (she is in Suziki 4 book) and I (I haven't played in over 20 years) played 10 mins. of pre-service music for our church. This book is awesome! It has a CD that has the piano part (if you want). The songs work well for a duet or for solos. It was all very easy for my daughter and so much fun to play. I played most of the Violin 2 parts because they were easier for me. Most of our songs lasted about 2 mins. each. Silent Night, Away in the Manager, Infant Holy and much more! I would recommend this to anyone looking for all their Christmas favorites that are not too difficult to play."

"I have a granddaughter that plays 1st or 2nd violin. She has taken private lessons and played for our Christmas Eve service. I wanted the music of Christmas Carols and also a piano accompaniment with it. It also came with a CD and 2nd violin sheet music so it was an awesome package of music and had the carols that I enjoy. It was a wonderful musical service and we were blessed with the musical talent of our granddaughter playing the violin and our Pastor who accompanied her. Thanks again."

"I have been playing violin for a little over 1 year. This music was very easy for me, yet has a very good arrangement that is not boring. The piano accompaniment is awesome."

"This is a great buy for a beginner that wants to feel successful by playing music that the whole family can enjoy, while still being challenged by some harder pieces. I was playing ‘Come, All Ye Faithful’ on day one..."

"This book has great versatility. There are separate booklets for Violin Parts I and II, and the play-along CD can be used for practice or performance. The piano accompaniment and violin parts can each be easily improvised depending on the skill levels of all the players involved. This was my first book of Christmas music for violin. I bought it to use with two granddaughters who are Suzuki violinists. I could not be more pleased with my selection."

"Karen Khanagov is a phenominal composer and director, I am one of his students at the University of Central Oklahoma. He has taught me to play cello. These pieces of music are beautifully composed and written."

"Was looking for something for my boys to play for Christmas. They are intermediate to Advanced. Were able to play all songs right away but the plus to this is the piano accompaniment. It actually finishes the songs off when you play them for show. Just a really nice nice selection of songs. I will now always look for the CD accompaniment discs!"
